Real athlete taxes depend on things a web calculator cannot see: your exact duty-day schedule, which road games you traveled for, playoff games, bonuses and when they were paid, deferred money, investment income, where you were legally domiciled, credits between states, and the choices your CPA makes. The real number can be higher or lower than ours.
